Leicester Salon Trailblazer Launches Specialist Hair Loss Clinic for Women

ree

Award-winning salon owner and industry educator Sue Davis Ehoff, of Sue Davis Hair & Beauty, is expanding her well-known Leicester-based salon with the launch of a specialist Hair Loss Clinic designed to offer tailored solutions to women affected by thinning hair or complete hair loss.

This exciting expansion marks a significant step for the salon, dedicated to helping women experiencing thinning hair or complete hair loss through bespoke treatments and solutions.

A Progressive, Client-Led Approach

Evolving from Sue’s decades of expertise crafting wigs for women undergoing cancer treatment, the new services offer a truly client-first approach.

Alongside personalised wig services and styling, clients will benefit from:

  • Intellihalo & Intellimesh integration systems

  • Advanced hair extension techniques

  • Flexible, discreet solutions for women experiencing hair loss from medical treatments, long-term conditions, or natural changes such as menopause.

“For years, I’ve created wigs for women facing cancer treatment. These new services are the natural next step – a way to bring together innovative solutions for every kind of hair loss,” says Sue. “We want women to feel supported at every stage, whether they’re managing stress-related thinning, hormonal changes, or medical conditions.”

Why This Matters:

Hair loss is a growing concern for women in the UK. According to the Institute of Trichologists:

  • 8 million women are affected nationwide

  • Around 40% of women over 50 experience female pattern hair loss

  • By age 70, it affects half of women

With rising stress, hormonal changes, and post-Covid health battles, more women are turning to professionals for help. Social media conversations around thinning hair and scalp health are booming – and Sue’s new services step up to meet that need with expertise, empathy, and cutting-edge solutions.

A Career Built on Passion & Care

Hairdressing has been Sue’s passion since she was 14. After managing a salon at just 19, she built an impressive career across the UK and Europe before opening her own salons.

Today, Sue has grown to three locations, become a Brand Ambassador for L’Oréal’s Pureology line, trained hundreds of stylists, and won multiple SalonSpy Customer Service Awards.

Her salon is already recognised for supporting clients through cancer treatment, menopause, illness, grief, and stress – as well as fundraising for local causes like LOROS Hospice.

The launch of the specialist hair loss services cements her mission: to provide confidence-restoring solutions for women at every stage of life.

“Hairdressing gave me everything – a career, independence, the chance to travel the world,” adds Sue. “This is about giving something back: dignity, confidence and a sense of control to women when they need it most.”

If you or someone you know is experiencing hair loss, we’d love to welcome you to our salon.
